Great Time

I have really had a great time researching and selling these pieces. I can't make more purchases until I sell some more though. Right now I have listings on Mobile and Pensacola's Craiglist.org. If you have never shopped these websites, I would suggest that you do.
I have some framed artwork that I am selling. Will post those pictures as soon as I can get them downloaded. Many of the items I have listed below are still for sale. The Armoire, china cabinet, cupboard, lamp, hutch, crib, changing table, and more. I'll have that posting for you later this week.
Right now I am researching how to repair a vintage couch I bought. Someone was going to give it to goodwill, and I couldn't pass it up. Was a great investment. I'll picture it soon as I get to working on it. Don't want to ruin it, so I'll be researching this well.
Have a great day, and if you are ever looking for anything, ANYTHING, I might be able to find it for you. Just comment and let me know!
God Bless.

Thanks to Becky...

Thanks to my sister in law, Becky, I am going to try my items on Craigslist.org. It is a free classified ad site online and your ad stays up for 45 days. People from this area can look for stuff there, and contact me if interested. I'll see if I can attach the links below for the items. Since it is free, I don't have to worry about ebay fees. And, alot of my stuff is pick up only, so this way people locally can look and see, and I don't have to worry about the far away buyer prospects. Who can afford gas to drive and pick up a cupboard or armoire? NOBODY! I'll be adding more soon. Thanks and come back again!

The antique armoire listed two post down didn't sell on ebay. If anyone is interested, or knows someone who would be, let me know. Thanks.

Em and I plan on having a yard sale in a couple of weeks, and in that sale we will also have an "antique furniture sale." I'm going to post some of the things we'll have for sale and the cost. We haven't been able to move any furniture online yet, but we are not giving up hope yet. :) Take a glance and see if anything strikes your fancy. Have a blessed day!

First, my dining table and chairs. The table is a nice piece. I'm not big on knowing what wood is, but I believe it is solid oak. Someone else who has seen it may want to correct me. Has some wear and tear on the top, but in great condition. The chairs are green wrought iron and wicker. I have had these for more than 8 years, and they are all in really good condition. I would take $150.00 for the table and chairs. (SOLD)
Next is this antique cupboard with leaded glass windows. This is a pretty piece. Would look really great as a painted piece if anyone knows how to do painted pieces. I almost would like to keep this, but my house is full. This piece could go from $350 - $450. I am only asking $175.00.
I'm going to post more later. I have a Jenny Lynn crib, a tropical twin headboard (from Gayfers display department), some captains chairs, a corner cabinet and more. I don't have any pictures of that stuff right now. Check back later and thanks for looking.

Didn't sell on ebay, but if your interested...

This is a piece that didn't sell on ebay. I'm thinking of listing it again, but wondered if any of my friends out there were interested. The information about it is listed below the last picture. If your interested email me or leave a comment with your information. Thanks everyone.

Bassett Furniture Contemporary China Hutch/Cabinet - $450.00

This is a Contemporary Style China Base/Hutch from Bassett with a Cherry finish. They are custom made. This hutch has 2 beveled glass doors, a hole and chord to install a light fixture, mirrored back, curio ends, wine storage, and the base has 2 reeded glass doors, 1 adjustable wood shelf, 3 drawers, a finished top. The hardware is a Nickel finish. One handle is missing. (I have replaced it with a stainless steal knob. Not noticeable, but a replacement knob could probably be ordered from Bassett. This is a new piece, and has not been used. It is in EXCELLENT condition. Only has one small noticeable scratch under the first drawer on the edge. Could probably be easily disguised with a stain or marker. The glass shelves and their hardware are missing, but could easily be bought and installed. The base and the hutch are separate pieces. The base has adjustable pegs on the bottom to balance the piece on an uneven floor. Currently this piece is still for sale at Bassett. It list in separate pieces with a total cost of over $1,600. (That is the clearance price)
The measurements for both pieces:
Hutch: Height 47" width 52" Depth 19"
Base: Height 34" width 50" Depth 18:"
Total height of piece is 81"

Even though this isn't on ebay, Em and I will still donate 5% to St. Jude Children's Hospital in honor of our baby Ivee.

What's on Ebay right now?

Hey and thanks for stopping by. I'm posting some pics of what I have on ebay right now. I hope you'll take a look. Thanks for stopping by.

Pre 1950's Birdseye Armoire - Starting bid $575.00

This is a beautiful birdseye maple armoire. Birdseye is a very rare wood. Do not know the exact year or who made it. It is in fair to good condition. Have done some repair to the base structure. The clawed feet on the front have had a patch job prior to my ownership. Not a great job done, but from a distance, not that noticeable. Someone with excellent wood skills could make it like new again. The mirrors are beveled and in tack. It is approximately 90" tall and 48" wide at it's thickest point. The depth of the piece at it's thickest point is 25". The depth of the interior shelves is apx. 17.75". The armoire is made of wood, and is a beautiful addition to any home. The armoire should be taken apart to be moved. Will take at least two people to move it. The drawer does open and shut. The latches for the doors require a key to turn. The key is missing. Doors do seem to stay closed without the use of the locks if the floor is level. This is a lovely piece, and there have been many complements on it. To view this piece on ebay or see more pictures visit the following link

It's a men's standard right handed. Steel shaft in good condition.
Grip - In fair shape. Some wear and tear on the end near shaft.
Excellent weight. Visit the following link for more information and for more pictures.

Of course, anything on ebay goes to the highest bidder, so prcing depends on that bid.

Thanks for looking, and stay tuned. I'm going to post some things that didn't sell on ebay or that haven't made it to ebay yet. Any comments are welcome.
